Football: Your guide to the sport that takes place all over the country

There may have been a lack of success at World Cups and European Championships from these islands of late but Great Britain won gold in the first two Olympic football competitions.
At this year's Games, the men's event will feature players under the age of 23 (plus up to three over-aged players) but there are no restrictions in the women's tournament.
Controversy surrounds the British side with Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales reluctant to allow their players to feature.
