CSA 2012 All Stars: Captain Restrepo leads Ontario to win in U-15 Boys final

Captain Mateo Restrepo scored the winner and Julian Mullin added the second as Ontario defeated Québec 2:0 in the U:15 Boys final at the 2012 All Stars in Mt. Pearl, NL.
Restrepo rose the highest to head home a lofted free-kick in the 47th minute before Malik Johnson fed a fine ball to Mullin who buried his left-footed effort 10 minutes later.
After seizing the 2:0 lead Ontario did well to control the match and didn’t allow Québec any clear-cut scoring opportunities in the final 20 minutes.
Danye St. Clair earned the clean sheet in goal for the Ontario U-15’s.

“Our boys approached this match with a high level of focus,” said Ontario Head Coach Henrich Svetko in following the win. “I think we deserved to win as we controlled the whole match.
“This group of players is one of the best we have had in Ontario.”
Québec Head Coach John Limniatis was gracious in defeat – as he applauded a strong Ontario side – but remains committed to improving his players.
“Ontario were the better team throughout the tournament, and indeed, again in the final,” said Limniatis.
“We will continue to improve and develop. The work continues as we aim to ready our young players for the national team.”
