TORONTO CENTRAL WOMEN'S SOCCER LEAGUE PLAY-OFFS: Genesis, Majestic and Ballers, the candidates of Earlscourt Division; Strikers, She-Devils and Blue Balls for Eglinton Flats Division.

This Thursday, both divisions play the final week of the regular season, but the standings won't wary too much. Genesis (37 points), Majestic Recs FC (34 points) and Ballers (20 points) have been the most consistent teams in the Earlscourt South Division. Even the difference between the first and second place was due to lack of players from Majestic in their showdown with Genesis, that is so strong with Alora Wilcott, Carol "Shay" Knibbe, Jaime, Isabel, Rocio, Holy, Tara, among a full roster of 22 players. Majestic also has great players, especially strikers Kristyn Bacon and Nicole Jacobs, as well as midfielders Nadia Jwoda, Cindy Hall, Katherine Bell, Hamilton, and Farah Mohtadi, all of the them with amazing technical skills.

Ballers is a compact team, youthful and with a coach in the bench, they could accomplish more. Players as midfielder Sharon Jameson, a well-kown and accomplished creative player, defenders Micaela Sheppard, Mary Barber and Jennifer Selenza, Rebecca McAllister, and strikers Melanie Francis, Jillian Blakey, Nicole Martine, Hallory Hazlett, and Jenna Mumming, are good to watch, for all their intensity on the field and with the ball.

The remaining teams showed some good talents, but they could not win enough against the strongers 11s. Bulldogs have strong, fast and passionate players in Carey Di Vincenzo, Karen Cross, Hannah Khosroshaki, Danielle Wedge, Karla Palacios, Kyla Cleawater, Laura Quigley, Naomi and Josie Ferreira. Ravens play great teamwork style and its best start is striker and attacking midfielder Gillian Van Der Lee - fast as Walcott and Knibbe from Genesis -. Thunder has in Michele Liu and Julie the greastest talents in the team, Michelle The Italian striker will be missed (she went to teach soccer in Italy).
