TORONTO FC: Fans have waited and waited for a winning team, now Reds go to Mexico

Reds Search For Points In Mexico

Pumas v. TFC: where you can watch & participate Wednesday night.
Toronto FC will hope to take a big step toward CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals Wednesday night in Mexico against Pumas UNAM (GOL TV Canada, 8:00 p.m. ET).
Toronto sits second in CCL Group C with three points, the same amount by which it trails table topping Dallas. The Reds lost its last game against the group leader 1-0 in a closely contested replay at BMO Field on August 25 (replayed due to weather conditions the previous night). Toronto beat Tauro F.C. in its group opener 2-1 and will be hoping for a point or better in Mexico City, which would put TFC in a great position with two CCL home games coming up on September 20 and 27.

// INSIDER EXCLUSIVE: MAROSEVIC SPEAKS ABOUT CCL MATCHEarlier, I spoke with Peri about tomorrow's match in Mexico and Champions League.
"This one is a big one for us, especially on the road. We saw that Pumas and Tauro tied so that is good for us (still second in our group). It's going to be a good atmosphere but a little tough on the road. It's going to be a good challenge for us and believe me, the game means a lot for everyone. Doing well in Champions League means a lot to this team and we are going to strive to do our best and come out with a win."
