Sinclair converted a second-half penalty kick to help lead Thorns FC to a come-from-behind 1:1 draw in front of sold-out crowd of 6,784 fans at Shawnee Mission District Stadium in the inaugural match of the National Women’s Soccer League on 13 April.
Sinclair also scored in Portland’s 2:0 win over Chicago Red Stars on 27 April.
Portland Thorns FC posted a perfect record of 3W-0D-0L in April.
Canada WNT’s next match is scheduled for 2 June at home to USA at BMO Field in Toronto in a rematch of last year’s dramatic Olympic semi-final.
