Ontario Cup 2013 Quarter-Finals Conclude This Weekend

VAUGHAN, August 7, 2013 – The Ontario Cup Quarter-Final match-ups will conclude this weekend with 11 divisions set to take the pitch. Games will be played from Windsor to Ottawa as teams from all across the province vie for a Semi-Final berth. Among the Quarter-Final games being played this weekend are the highly anticipated Men’s and Women’s Divisions. On the Men’s side, four of the seven Ontario Soccer League provincial level teams still remain, setting up a very competitive weekend. The four OSL teams still standing are PCC Mississauga, Caledon FC, Scarborough G.S. United, and Scarborough Ulster Thistle. PCC Mississauga will look to make a push to the Finals again this year, as they played in the Championship game in 2012 but fell short to A.E.K. London FC. On the Women’s side, four Ontario Women’s Soccer League provincial level teams remain, including Scarborough G.S. United, Vaughan Azzurri, Burlington Bayhawks, and Richmond Hill Raiders. Also still in the mix is last year’s Ontario Cup Champion North London Galaxy squad, making for a very exciting Quarter-Final Round.
